Nellara

After the harvesting of paddy fields, the rice was stored in this Nellara. The Nellara is made of rose wood. It was this Nellara which stored a part of the grains from the harvest.  The children of Srivilasam School were given mid-day meals at the Aikya vilasam courtyards in the 1930’s.
